JOSHOB Construction

Sustainability & Social Commitment

Building responsibly for future generations

How we operate matters as much as what we build

The infrastructure we build serves communities for decades. That responsibility extends beyond the physical structures to the livelihoods we support, the environments we operate in, and the local economies we contribute to.

Our Commitment

Four pillars of responsibility

01

Local Employment

We hire from the communities where we work. On the Anwiankwanta-Obuasi project, local employment created direct economic benefit for surrounding districts throughout the construction period.

02

Staff Training & Development

We invest in continuous professional development, building the technical skills our workforce needs to operate modern plant and equipment safely and effectively.

03

Environmentally Conscious Methods

We manage waste responsibly, protect natural resources around our project sites, and operate our quarries and asphalt plants within environmental compliance standards.

04

Community Investment

JOSHOB has donated $100,000 to the Covid-19 National Trust Fund and sponsors the Building Tomorrow Scholarship through PropelEd International, supporting Ghanaian students with tuition and living costs.

Impact beyond infrastructure

$100,000 donated to the Covid-19 National Trust Fund. Scholarships funded through PropelEd International. Local hiring prioritised on every project site. These are not aspirations. They are actions we have taken.
